The Affluent team within the Growth Financial Product group is focused on managing the Affluent Segment business and continuing to innovate the Chase Private Client relationship-based benefits program in an increasingly competitive and dynamic customer segment that represents a $5 trillion dollar opportunity. It is critical that we continue to deliver a compelling offering and seamless customer experience for this high priority segment.

The Consumer Bank Affluent team is seeking an Affluent Program Manager who is responsible for driving the strategic initiatives and managing the relationship-based benefits program. The candidate will support the development, implementation and management of the Affluent Relationship-Based Benefits Program in partnership with Wealth Management to improve client deepening, satisfaction, retention and acquisition. This role will play a key role in helping to catalyze our business at this critical inflection point in our affluent growth trajectory.

As a Program Owner, this role will be responsible for the Affluent team's end-to-end ownership of the Relationship-Based Benefits Program across LOBs and functions, including the Affluent Program definition and rule management, business strategy development and execution, quantitative and qualitative research agenda building and management, benefits selection and ongoing management, competitive landscape analysis and program performance management (e.g. developing and supporting strategies and tactics to meet OKRs and P&L objectives in collaboration with partners) and reporting content development to be socialized with senior stakeholders across the firm, in partnership with cross-functional and xLOB teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Affluent Relationship-Based Benefits Program strategy and manage the program on a day to day
  • Strategize and define program features and benefits, identify any potential risks, advise on potential alternative solutions and manage pipeline of program enhancement ideas
  • Distill actionable insight from quantitative, qualitative, market, customer, competitor analyses and synthesize into practical, implementable program strategies and tactics
  • Lead a cross-functional team of partners in Data & Analytics, Finance, Marketing and Field teams to understand the performance drivers of the Affluent Program and develop strategies and tactics to meet OKRs and effectively manage P&L
  • Become a trusted, active, and visible member of the Consumer Bank Growth Financial Product team, develop deep partnerships with US Wealth Management, other Chase LOBs, Area Product Groups, Corporate Development, Research, Digital, Marketing, Field, etc., and represent the affluent segment / client experience in shared forums
  • Deliver the Affluent Program offering and broader segment value proposition across Chase (in partnership with other Chase LOBs) to sustain competitive differentiation where it matters
  • Demonstrate bank product and/or wealth management expertise, backed by intimate knowledge of the affluent client needs, to advocate and articulate both business and technical program specifications, including build-in technologies and features to the various firmwide and channel platforms
  • In partnership with key stakeholders, develop and manage a multi-year program roadmap and execute program strategy, including defining actionable deliverables, supporting artifacts (designs, proof-of-concepts, business cases, stakeholder signoffs, etc.) and maintain prioritized backlog and proactively identify risks to execution
  • Set and manage day-to-day program development interactions: leading project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations as needed. Serve as a liaison with partners across lines of business and across functions to ensure goals and requirements are communicated and understood by stakeholders
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc business reports and executive update materials related to the Affluent Relationship-Based Benefits Program
  • Adhere to risk & controls rules, policies, and regulations associated with program, risk, and customer management; Remain committed to controls, compliance and the overall safety and soundness of our business

Experience / Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relationship-based benefits program development and management experience; credit card, airline and financial services company reward program development and management experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - ability to cultivate and build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Superior communication skills; ability to speak comfortably and effectively to large groups of stakeholders and constituents; experience working and influencing senior stakeholders
